Mumbai: Three coaches of Puducherry Express on Friday derailed between Matunga & Dadar Station, the Railways said. However, no casualties have been reported so. Talking about the accident GRP Mumbai said that they are in coordination with the railway administration and officials are arranging for assistance for stranded passengers.
The GRP Mumbai also requested the passengers to cooperate and in case of emergencies dial 1512.
Need to pull up engineering department.

Railway CP Quaiser Khalid visited the accident site at Matunga and informed that all passengers and their belongings are safe. Chalukya/Puducherry Express passengers have been evacuated.
“There has been a minor collision b/w Chalukya Express & Mumbai CSMT Gadag Express, near Matunga RS; GRP Mumbai & senior railway officers on the spot. We’re evacuating the passengers. No injuries reported yet. One bogie derailed. Suburban trains are running,” Railway CP said.
